Thanks for the site. As a weather junkie, I was always concerned that the US based weather radar
such as http://www.intellicast.com/weather/y62/radar/ which will cover the Collingwood area for
most rain and snow, will often miss the very low lying clouds that are the cause of snow squalls.
Today (Jan 4/99) is a good day to compare the two. The intellicast site shows squalls off of Lake
Michigan, Lake Erie, etc, but misses many squalls in Southern Ontario. The Ontario radar that I
found at your site: http://can:yes@wtosvr.tor.ec.gc.ca/RADAR.gif shows the proper squall activity
over south -central Ontario.

Great site! I've been depending on the radar of the U. S. Weather Bureau - notably Buffalo and
Cleveland areas for a runup to ours [they don't recognize Canada, I don't think except to blame
us for any bad weather!]. The above is hopelessly behind - 7 to 8 hours - which sure doesn't help
in stormy weather.

Thanks again.

It's interesting to note that Toronto is getting the snow usually intended for our area. North of
Hwy. 9 in South Simcoe County, it is presently clear, no snow, and no winds. Roads are generally
center bare to dry. So far this storm has decided to concentrate its efforts on Toronto and
surrounding areas.

Dave: This is a great web site. I coach a girls 13 & 14 year old basketball team down south
(Virginia) and we will be coming to Hamilton for a tournament in February. I've been there before
but my players and their parents haven't so I'm using your site to educate them as to what to
expect from your weather. We'll be checking your site and hoping for a good forecast for the
middle of February. Thanks for this great service. Dave M. - Alexandria Virginia

Using your site quite a lot. Helped when making decision at Christmas for departure time to get
ahead of bad weather coming. Lots of information. Also, for school closings, do you have Star
96.7 radio station, Pembroke, Ontario listed? Radio Station is located on Pembroke, St. E, in
Pembroke. No school closures so far this month. Guess we are prepared for the huge snow falls
most years. Came from Toronto area - I remember getting heavy snow falls in the 50's and 60's -
cars parked on streets were literally buried in snow then, -- can't imagine 111 cm in less than a
month!! Well, our boys from Petawawa always do a great job --hats off to CFB Petawawa!

With regards to the script on the roads page, this has been corrected. With the uploading of the new site, some things got lost in cyberspace and it just so happened that the scripts for many of the links that I created disappeared. I have fixed them all and this should not happen again.

Comments : Great weather. We check here at least twice a day. We grow alfalfa, clover, soybeans, corn and wheat on 450
acres south of Niagara Falls on the shores of Lake Erie just a few miles from Buffalo. The radar images are very helpful for
watching for impending lake effect weather which is not always available on local tv or radio forcasts. Very helpful. Now if you
could just put a little bit more rain in the forcasts for next week everything would be perfect!! Thanks.

I always like it when individuals such as your self, post sites that are not run by government sources.

You could have some information for 10 - 14 day outlooks.

Comments : Absolutely the best weather site I've seen so far..anywhere (including the all too pathetic weather network's own
site). The great selection of radar images is what keeps me coming back on almost a daily basis. At work, when a storm is
approaching, my fellow workers gather around my desk to see the up to date radar shots of approaching systems. Absolutely
great work, keep it up.

Comments : I am enjoying your site very much - the information is very informative and the outlooks are bang on! For an
amateur such as myself you have made watching weather extremely interesting. I also saw the Pet Tornados in the States and
really folks, they are a really neat thing to have. They look quite different from the picture and the Fujita Scale on the back is
very helpful. Why not order one to have for your very own Pet-nado! Anyway, keep up the great work.

it to them. ;->
I filled in the evaluation sections with Very Good so that your percentages would go up instead of down (no printable
comments about the dorks who gave you less than a VG); however, those of us who count know both how Excellent your site
is and what a great service it provides.
I agree with you about the possibility of good lake effect snow this year. I've been swimming in Georgian Bay for 40+ years
and have seldom seen it heat up to its present temp. so early in the summer. In some spots, it's like diving into warm molasses. I
think I prefer it more on the "refreshing" side!
I wonder if the oncoming cold front will produce any fireworks on Sunday (Aug. 1)?
